Good place with its free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and coffee shop. The staff helped me find transport during my first stay. Highly recommend staying here. I'm coming back for Easter!

Good choice for 1 night. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Central location, within walking distance of Temples. Situated in a pretty nice area. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

In the curry area and close to nsc.
Tv had no volume control - volume button turned colour to black & white. Bed had a plastic undersheet which caused the sheet to become damp during the warm night. Had to make a cocoon of the duvet to get comfortable. Continental breakfast had no fruit juice. As I don't drink tea or coffee I was dismayed they did not do chocolate, nor would they attempt to get any when I pointed out that left me without anything to drink.

No coment.I Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Breakfast was awful, you make your own tea,you make your own toast,,,,,,,,,One can hardly call this a HOTEL.,,,,,,Trust me I stayed in this place when you could call it a hotel,,,,,the standards have dropped,,,,,I regard cleanliness as important,,,the cupboards inside was absolutely full of dust.

close proximity to restaurants, ample parking space, historic building charm
The lack of hot water is unacceptable!!! Closing doors create a disruptive atmosphere!!! Filthy common areas and malfunctioning fixtures left much to be desired!!! This place clearly needs serious refurbishment!!!

I liked the best that is was a simple clean room
I didnt like the design of the bath room it was more of a shower room / wet room. once you've had a shower all the floor is wet.

reasonable cost
No hot water, paper thin walls, atrocious breeakfat - sour milk, stale cereal and overall indifferent staff. We have stayed here before when it was much better - clearly new owners and gone sharply down hill

Hotel was fine, but beware if you are on a higher floor, there's no enough hot water pressure so your showers may be a bit adventurous! An excellent Indian restaurant is part of the hotel.

Only there overnight, the bed was warm and comfortable.
Having to climb up to the third floor (no lift) and having an en-suite which was a small wet room, wet hand-basin, wet toilet, wet shelf, wet floor etc after a shower. Also, an Asian gentleman was asleep in the foyer on the morning we left. The so called "Continental" breakfast was cornflakes, rice crispies and toast. This is not a Continental breakfast.

The hotel had a central setting in the middle of the city. And it was also close enough to the river and the park and the town centre. Booked well heated and new-fashioned room that was well kept decor dated.

I had a good firm bed - exactly the firmness I need. Parking was excellent and the proximity to the curry restaurants perfect. Easy to get to NSC from here.
The breakfast I expected is no longer available.
